A unique fusion of world instruments over funky grooves and dub basslines with soulful RnB vocal stylings over the top. Radio Devi is deeply inspired by the music of Mali, Morocco and Mauritania fused with funky rhythms and textured synths. Descriptions include “Progressive, World, Soul” or “Ambient, Ethno, Groove.” Radio Devi was formed out of the critically acclaimed and award winning world music group Hamsa Lila. Θ Dogon Lights {Fato Foli} (2009-Present) Fato Foli, aka Dogon Lights {pronounced 'Do-Gon'}, features members of Hamsa Lila with Yacouba Diarra, a native of Burkina Faso and an extraordinary player of the Camel-Ngoni or Hunters Harp of the deserts of Mali.
